Saturday 17th November 2018: St Anne's Church Chasetown Wedding Of Amie and JonPOSTED: 03/12/2018
Saturday 17th November we were back at St Annes Church in the Chasetown area of Burntwood, Staffordshire to provide the wedding photography for Jon and Amie. After the marriage ceremony the congregation moved to The Nags Head for the wedding reception. It has been a busy year for us at St Annes church this year, with us returning to the wedding venue in the role of wedding photographer.
We arrived at the church to greet bridegroom Jon along with his three groomsmen all suited and booted ready for the day ahead. Once Jon, and all the guests had been photographed Richard the vicar called everyone inside the church to take their seats for the arrival of the bridal party.
Next to arrive were the three bridesmaids and flower girl who all looked amazing in their pink bridesmaids dresses. The bridal party waited outside for the arrival of Amie and were happy to pose for photographs.
Right on time Amie arrived along with her grandad, and exited the wedding car and looked beautiful in her amazing embroidered wedding gown. The bridal party made their way into the church, and down the aisle to the altar where Jon was waiting for his beautiful bride.
The wedding ceremony was a fun filled affair with the congregation singing and clapping along to the songs that had been chosen. The wedding ceremony saw Amie given away by her very proud grandad, and formally introduced as husband and wife.
The traditional wedding photographs were taken outside the Chasetown Church, as well as some romantic wedding portraits of the newlywed couple alone as they enjoyed their special day.
Jon and Amie now travelled to The Nags Head to be officially announced into the room where all of their loved ones waited. The guests were treated to a wedding breakfast, and traditional speeches.
The evening guests were soon arriving, and after cutting the three-tier wedding cake Jon and Amie took to the dance floor to perform their first dance together as husband and wife.
It was now time for us to leave The Nags head, as the party started, and everyone partied hard late into the night.
We would like to thank Jon and Amie for choosing us as their wedding photographer on their special day.
We would also like to wish them a very happy and long life together as husband and wife.
