Saturday 29th December 2018: Lichfield Wedding of Wayne and KimberleyPOSTED: 02/01/2019
Saturday 29th December professional wedding photographer Glyn T Jones was providing the Lichfield wedding photography for Wayne and Kimberley. The wedding venue that had been chosen by the couple was Lichfield Registry Office which is set into the landscaped grounds of Beacon Park. The marriage ceremony was then to be followed by a wedding meal at the nearby beautiful country pub of The Red Lion in Longdon Green.
We arrived at the Lichfield wedding venue to await the arrival of the bride and groom, who were travelling together for their wedding. Soon a Mercedes people carrier complete with ribbons arrived, and the couple climbed out into the winter sunshine, and posed separately for photographs before entering the registry office for the ceremony to begin. This was a lovely small intimate wedding where Wayne and Kimberley took each other as husband and wife in front of the congregation consisting of sixteen of their loved ones. We made sure we photographed the marriage taking place throughout the ceremony, before the newlyweds led their family and friends out into Lichfields Beacon Park for the traditional wedding photography to take place.
After all of the traditional family photographs had been taken by our cameras, we accompanied the bride and groom into the memorial gardens on the bank of Minster Pool for their romantic bridal portraits of them as they enjoyed their special day with each other.
It was now time to travel the short distance to the Staffordshire village of Longdon Green. Wayne and Kimberley also wanted some wedding portraits styled photographs of them together outside The Red Lion where they had arranged a meal for their wedding congregation. They were particularly keen to include the vintage tractor in a photograph.
The whole wedding congregation then entered The Red Lion, and were seated together on a big table to enjoy their meal, and the company of each other.
We would like to thank Wayne and Kimberley for choosing Glyn T Jones Photography to provide them with their official wedding photography.
We would also like to wish them a very long, and very happy life together as husband and wife.
More images will be added to this blog, once they have been seen by the bride and groom.
